In an ongoing search for recycled materials, I "ran" across some red carpet. In a Mark Rothkoesque fashion, my intention was simply to create a landscape feel with one horizon line. It's glued on painted board, 17"x22".

I'm so happy that you mentioned Rothko in the description of this piece because Rothko is the reason this made me stop scrolling down the page of various pieces of art and go, "WOW!"
Rothko is my all-time favorite artist, and I absolutely LOVE your work on this. Very creative, as well as a fantastic use of color and recycled materials.
