For the music I used mainly the fragments themselves-bubble wrap, plastic bags, etc,- plus some traditional instruments.

This was taken while flying at about 5000 feet over Denver Glacier in Skagway, Alaska, on the way to a dog sled camp. I'm not a huge fan of planes. And, unfortunately, while we were winding down our time in Alaska we heard about a number of local disasters. But, flying in a helicopter is like riding in an elevator. Definitely, the best experience of my whole trip.
We had 10 straight days of perfect weather. Which is why we had a viewing distance from this helicopter of approximately 100 miles. Unheard of in Alaska, where the locals in Ketchikan measure their annual rainfall in feet (13 on average!) instead of inches.
Some of the new cruise ships have boxing rings, state of the art movie theaters, 9 hole mini golf courses, full sized basketball courts, inline skating and rock climbing walls. This short features "the disco."

Chance Griswold is an anagram for Clown Discharge which nicely illustrates the nature of the video:

Alas, the stars have aligned and a confluence of fantastical events have led to this glorious post. Halloween is nearly upon us, Apple has spawned millions of video iPods, and nobody has anything to watch on them. Today we are releasing our baby, "Bighead"- neatly encoded for your video iPod (or just to watch on your computer).
A good chunk of the invisibleman team spent a hilarious weekend in Kempton, PA filming and acting in this opus. Hard-earned money was wasted on high quality sausages, tyvek worksuits and chocolate syrup. Another year or so of feverish bi-coastal editing ensued, and it has been languishing in our HQ's armored media vault for a while now. If you love something, set it free...We're releasing this 20 minute film under a Creative Commons license ( Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 2.5 to be precise), so feel free to share this with your friends- although as the license states, please keep our credits intact, and resist the urge to sell copies of this masterpiece on Canal street out of duct-taped luggage.
The latest version of QuickTime is needed to watch this. It's a big download, but trust us, it's worth it.

Click on the snowy image above to watch this scary short about man vs. nature. As the cooler weather approaches, watch what you put on your head.
Comments (0) - Link to this postThis is an audio-visual representation of a sad yet all too common story: A robot that falls in love with the sea, only to have the high salt-content of the water render it a hopeless reverie. The shark-tooth punctures to it's exo-skeleton does not help the matter much either. Audio by James Antonson.
Link to this postAnother little movie here mixing more super-cool music by James Antonson and some photos I've taken. This one has sort of a Sci-Fi theme (I'd had a star-warsy scrawl at the end but it needed to be removed as the humor had waned). These are good warms up for the next looming (and frightening) Delroy Owens Poet Engineers project.
sci-fi
