{"id":409,"date":"2007-07-21T10:30:13","date_gmt":"2007-07-21T10:30:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sketchbooks.com\/invis\/wordpress\/?p=409"},"modified":"2016-03-31T10:21:26","modified_gmt":"2016-03-31T14:21:26","slug":"harry-potter-interactive-for-wsj-com","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/invisibleman.com\/2007\/07\/harry-potter-interactive-for-wsj-com\/","title":{"rendered":"Harry Potter interactive for WSJ.com"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"Harry-Potter.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/invisibleman.com\/Harry-Potter.jpg\" width=\"502\" height=\"511\" \/><br \/>\nI had a really fun time working up these Harry Potter illustrations for a The Wall Street Journal Online interactive.  <a href=\"http:\/\/online.wsj.com\/public\/resources\/documents\/info-flash08.html?project=POTTER07\" target=\"new\">Click here  to see the infographic, complete with floating scrolls (ala the Marauder Map) and animated owls.<\/a>  I haven&#8217;t read the books but I really dig the films and was very enthused to illustrate within that universe.  The entire time I worked on these the Harry Potter theme music was swirling through my head.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"Harry-Potter-crookshanks.jpg\" src=\"http:\/\/invisibleman.com\/Harry-Potter-crookshanks.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"356\" \/><br \/>\nAnd really, I&#8217;d be remiss if I didn&#8217;t address the best feline actor we have today and the true star of the entire Harry Potter series: Crookshanks the Cat.  (As you can see from the illustration he is first in line to get his paws on &#8216;The Deathly Hallows&#8217;).  When I saw the new film &#8216;Order of the Phoenix&#8217; and saw the work that Crookshanks had done, the type of cat actor he&#8217;s become&#8230; well, I wept openly.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I had a really fun time working up these Harry Potter illustrations for a The Wall Street Journal Online interactive.
