As the train pulls into the station, give the bird a good heave-ho onto the tracks.&#8221;<BR><br \/>\nThis is a collage\/drawing I did for the book, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.canceledflight.com\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Canceled Flight: 101 Tried and True Pigeon Killin&#8217; Methods.<\/em><\/a> Don&#8217;t worry, it was a vehicle for artists, not really a manual for the destruction of flying rats.<BR><br \/>\nAlthough, people didn&#8217;t always get the joke. The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bustherapy.com\" target=\"_blank\">author<\/a> received hate mail from protestors who hadn&#8217;t even seen the book. And, one <a href=\"http:\/\/search.barnesandnoble.com\/booksearch\/isbnInquiry.asp?z=y&amp;EAN=9780976141600&amp;itm=1\" target=\"_blank\">Barnes and Noble<\/a> fanned the flames by accidently putting it in the kids&#8217; section. Oops.<BR><br \/>\nI felt honored just to be published in the company of some of my favorite artists, including <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kozyndan.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">kozyndan<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ryanmcginness.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Ryan McGinness<\/a>. But then, the original artwork from the book was exhibited in a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.stapledesign.com\/events_canceled.html\" target=\"_blank\">travelling<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cancelledflight.com\/1.html\" target=\"_blank\">gallery<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.canceledflight.com\/1.html\" target=\"_blank\">show<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;While waiting on the platform for your subway train, quietly stand right behind an unsuspecting pigeon.
